Comptons are one of the longest established family run home improvement companies in the area.
Originally, in 1950's and 1960's we were based in Chadwell Heath and traded in the London area installing gas and electric appliances. In the 1970's the built-in look was increasing in popularity and Comptons branched out into the fitted furniture industry, designing and installing fitted kitchens.
With a reputation for organisational skills, and reliability, we were contracted by the then Gas and Electricity boards to install furniture and appliances from North London to North Norfolk.
The company moved to it's current site at 17 & 19 Walton Road, Frinton on Sea in the early 1970's specialising in built in appliances, kitchen furniture and fire surrounds. Building on our reputation for customer care, furniture quality and high standards of design and installation, we expanded our range of services to include fitted bedrooms, home offices and bathrooms. Today, we continue to offer a wide range of specialist products and services providing quality and value for money.
